Award winning jazz guitarist Gerry Beaudoin has carved out a career in the jazz world as a consummate jazz guitarist, recording artist and composer. He has written over 150 songs and his music is used in film and television. He has performed on over fifty recordings and DVD's in his career, been the recipient of national music awards and had his music placed on the Grammy Awards Ballot three times. Gerry has performed and recorded with a host of jazz and blues legends including three time Grammy winning saxophonist Fred Lipsius from BS&T, iconic jazz saxophonist Harry Allen, Grammy nominated jazz singer Karrin Allyson, jazz guitar legends Bucky Pizzarelli and Howard Alden, Blues guitarists Ronnie Earl and Joe Louis Walker, and harmonica legend Jerry Portnoy from Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton bands. Gerry is a founding member, with legendary guitarist Jay Geils of the J.Geils band and blues icon Duke Robillard, of the jazz and blues concert attraction New Guitar Summit! Gerry was born in Waltham hospital and has lived in Waltham his whole life. The Gerry Beaudoin Trio includes long standing musical collaborators Bob Nieske on acoustic bass and Gary Johnson on drums.
