Alan Arena & the Watch City Band

Alan Arena has been writing songs since 1978. At seventeen, he didn’t even know his first song “Doing 110 at 3AM” was influenced by Chuck Berry or the blues. Alan’s journey into the blues and music went even deeper when he found out that an Eric Clapton recording “Crossroads” was actually written by Robert Johnson. At that time Alan decided to dive deeper into the study of American music.
Alan has released two full length albums “Fortune Wheel” 2021 Top 10 Blues Magazine Online & “Where’s the Rainbow” 2016 Top 10 of the Decade Limelight Magazine. He has recorded with Ronnie Earl, Sax Gordon, Cheryl Arena, Gerry Beaudoin, Brad Faucher and many more, look for the “Believe in Yourself” album release soon.
Don Barry (bass, vocals, guitar) born in Cambridge MA, has been a performing musician for over 40 years. He has played on stages from small blues joints in Mississippi to the main stage at Carnegie Hall. As a blues bassist he worked in bands for Lonesome Dave, Luther Johnson, Chicago Bob and The Allston Allstars. More recently, Don is the house bassist for Wepecket Island Records, and has toured and recorded on over 30 CDs, and independently records for many Boston local musicians.
Chris Tosti (drums) is a versatile drummer across many musical styles both live and in the studio. He has studied with Boston’s best drum teachers including Bob Gullotti, Mark Walker and Bob Moses. He has dynamic control on the instrument as well as his own unique feel and sound that enhances the music.
Peter Mann (keyboard) Peter was born in Illinois and moved east at age four. He grew up listening to Dr. John, Little Feat, and Taj Mahal, and was influenced by Louis Armstrong and Al Hirt. Peter was the house piano player for Silas Hubband & the Hot Ribs. He moved to NYC to teach art, returning to the Cape area in 1997. Peter teaches art on the Cape, and plays with Dave Richardson, Fred Clayton, Steve Morgan & The Kingfish (IBC competitors and went to Memphis)
Larry Terry (saxophone & others instruments) Larry studied at Berklee School of Music. He plays all genres of music, with a focus on Jazz, Blues, and Modern R&B. He has performed with many bands and writes his own original music as well. Larry is an abstract visual artist, working primarily with oil pastels. Larry loves to perform and connect with the audience.
